I’m not sure if I’m spelling their names correctly, but I’ve had the pleasure of getting a few fillings done by Dr. Robinson and her dental assistant, Lakia. We had a wonderful conversation about life, the dental industry, and navigating this journey we call life. Being at a dentistry and treated not just as a patient but as a person, a friend, and a fellow human was the highlight of my morning. It’s rare to find that kind of genuine care and connection. I was very anxious to return to the dentist after a year of not going and was struggling to find one for my insurance.
